Valentine's Day Card

Hi everyone,

Here's a card that I made today which is very easy to do and is quite quick to make also. I saw a card similar to this one, but I forgot where and who made it. If I find the link to the original creator I will post it.



Here's the recipe if you want to make it.

1 pc. Real Red CS 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" , score at 4 1/4"

1 pc. 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" Whisper White CS

1 pc. 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" Real Red CS

1 pc. 3/4" x 5 1/2" Pink Pirouette CS

1 pc. 1" x 5 1/2" Pink Pirouette CS
( Use this piece to punc your border edge ).

Scrap of Whisper White CS for stamping your images.

Materials :

Stamps ; Teeny Tiny Wishes, (Voeux Mignons) and I {Heart} Hearts

Ink: Real Red

Punches : Heart to Heart and Border Pinking Hearts.

Accessories : Real Red Satin ribbon, dimentionals, snail.

Winter Matchbook Candy Holder

Hello dear friends,

Today I will show you a cute matchbook candy holder.
I offered one to everyone one of my guests at a diner that I gave.
I made about 25 of them altogether. And needless to say , my guests loved them.

This is how I did mine :


Cut 1 pc. 7 3/8" x 2 3/4" of Very Vanilla CS.
Score at : 3", 3 1/2" and 6 3/4".

Cut a pc. 5 3/4" x 2 3/8" of Very Vanilla CS.
Score at 2 1/4", 2 1/2",2 3/4", 5", 5 1/4" and 5 1/2".

1 pc. 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Chocolate Chip CS
1 pc. 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" Old Olive CS
1 pc. 2" x 1 5/8" Old Olive CS

1 pc. 1/2" x 2 5/8" DSP Merry Moments from SU.

Stamps: Christmas Punch ( hostess Level 2 ) kit and Season of Joy.

Inks: Choclate Chip and Old Olive.
Black Stazon

Markers : Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie

Accessories :

Tag punch, Old Olive 1/4" ribbon, 2 gold brads, sticky strip, dimensionals, and snail.

It's real easy to make and it makes a cute little gift.
Don't forget the chocolate...lol
If you can't find the Ghirardelli chocolate, you can use an After Eight mint chocolate.

Valentine's Day Ghirardelli Chocolate Holders

Hi everyone !

For today's share,

I have done some Chocolate holders for Valentine's Day.
I love doing these little kind of gifts.

Here's how I made it :
1 pc. of 3"x8" ( SU Melon Mambo) cardstock.
Score it at 3 7/8" and at 4 1/8".
Then fold using your bone folder. It makes a nice crisp fold.
On one of the ends, punch a slot using the SU Word Window Punch.
Move the punch a bit to the left and punch again, then move it another time to the right and punch yet again. (Just so that the chocolate will pass through it).
1 pc. 2 3/4" x 2" Whisper White CS
1 pc. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" Razzleberry Lemonade DSP

Accessories :

Stamps : Vintage Labels, Voeux Mignons.

Inks : Melon Mambo.

Papers : Melon Mambo, Whisper White CS and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.

Ribbon : Regal rose 5/8" grosgrain.

Dimensionals, snail, small heart punch and scallop circle punch.

Accessories : Big Shot, Full Heart Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Trim
Border Punch, Small Heart Punch, Border Pinking Hearts Punch.
Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits. Dimensionals and Real Red Satin
Ribbon.

Hope you like these little cards. They can be done with leftover CS as we always have leftovers from making other cards.

Cheep Talk Mini Note Cards ~ Mini Cartes Cheep Talk

Sorry for not posting anything in these past few days. I was busy making cards.

I made quite a few actually and will posting them in the coming days.

Here are mini 3"x 3" note cards. I just started playing with some leftover cardstock and came out with these little cards.


Here's a list of the material that I used to make these cards.

• Ribbon from SU : Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celeri, So Safran and Pacific Point.


• Punches from SU : Scallop punch, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Ticket Corner punch, Round Corner punch, Scallop Edge border punch and from Fiskars, Scallop edge punch.


• Inks from SU : Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Blue, So Safran, Morning Sunshine and Black Stazon.


• Dimentionnals, Crystal Effects from SU.

Désolée de ne pas avoir fait de mise-à-jour dernièrement, j'étais occupée à faire de nouvelles cartes. En voici le résultat. J'en ai plusieurs autres de terminées que vous pourrez voir dans de prochaines mise-à-jour.

Ici, j'ai commencé avec à jouer avec des restants de papiers cartonnés et j'en ai fabriqué de mini cartes de 3"x3" .

• Encres de SU : Pépite de Chocolat, Pacifique Point, Bizou Kiwi, Tellement Safran, Baja Bleu, Soleil d'été et Stazon Noir.

CRAZY AS A CUPCAKE CARDS

Good evening everyone,

Here are a couple of cards that I made using the "Crazy As A Cupcake" stamp Kit from SU.

That kit of stamps is just too cute and is one of my favorite kit to stamp with.

I have colored the Cupcake with Prismacolor Premier crayons and used the Taltine technique. It is the same technique as with the Gamsol except here I used Taltine,

as there is no Gamsol available in my area.

The size of this card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". With one sheet of cardstock 8 1/2" x 11", you can make 2 cards out of it.

The cardstock that I have used here is Whisper White and Pink Pirouette. I love that shade of pink.

Ribbon is Pink Pirouette from SU. Punches used are the Photo Corner punch from SU and the Lace Edge Border punch from Martha Stewart. I have also used the rectangle Nestabilities from Spellbinders, tiny little pearls, tiny beads and some stickles (glitter).

My background layer was done in the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots Embossing folder. Hope you like the way that I explain what material I used to make the cards.

Ici, j'ai fabriqué quelques cartes en me servant du jeu d'étampes "Crazy As A Cupcake" de SU.

J'aime beaucoup ce jeu d'étampes, c'est un de mes jeux préféré.

J'ai coloré le p'tit gâteau avec mes crayons Prismacolor Premier en utilisant de la Taltine. C'est la même technique que celle qui est faite avec le Gamsol.

J'ai fais un double de l'image et j'ai découpé la partie du crémage et apposé des dimentionnels pour donner un effet 3D. J'ai aussi ajouté de petites perles sur le crémage et des Stickles (brillants).

La dimention de la carte est de 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Vous devez surement savoir qu'avec une feuille de papier cartonné 8 1/2" x 11", vous pouvez faire 2 cartes.

Le papier cartonné est de SU, j'ai utilisé Murmure Blanc et Petite Pirouette. J'ai aussi utilisé le poinçon Lace Edge Border de Martha Stewart et le Coins pour Photo de SU.
J'ai embossé avec le Swiss Dots de Cuttlebug, coupé mes rectangles avec mes Nestabilities rectangulaires de Spellbinders. Le ruban est Petite Pirouette de SU et j'ai terminé avec de petites perles.

En espérant que vous aimez la manière que j'énumère le matériel dont je me sert pour fabriquer mes cartes.



Here again is another card made by using the "Crazy as a Cupcake" stamp kit.

This time it's a masculine card. I made this one for my son-in-law. (He loved it).

I can't remember who makes this designer paper, I'll try to find it and post the name of the company when I do. Rest of the card is made using SU's Olive Green, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. Ribbon is Chocolate Chip from SU. I have used my Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl Embossing folder for one the bottom background layer. Then added little beads to the cupcake. It is colored in the same manner as the pink cupcake card up above. Hope you like it :)

Ici, encore une autre carte faite avec le même jeu d'étampes "Crazy As A Cupcake" de SU. Une carte masculine cette fois-ci, que j'ai offert à mon gendre pour son anniversaire. ( Il l'a adorée ).

Je ne me souviens pas du nom de la compagnie du papier illustré. Pour ce qui est du papier cartonné ce sont : Murmure Blanc, Vert Olive et Pépite de Chocolat de SU. Le ruban est Pépite de Chocolat de SU et j'ai embossé avec le fichier a embossage de Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls. Les Nestabilities de Spellbinders pour découper les rectangles et de petites perles pour décorer le tout. J'ai coloré de la même façon que pour la carte rose ci-haut. Le montage du petit gâteau est identique aussi à celui de la carte rose. J'espère que vous allez aimer :)

A FLOWER FOR ALL SEASONS

Hi everyone,

Today, I'm showing you two different cards that I have made using the stamp "A Flower for all Seasons" from SU. This cute stamp set has so many possibilities. I just love it.

For the following card I have used the SU Large Die Cut Scallop Circle, the Cuttlebug embossing folder "Swiss Dots" , Nestabilities for the circles, some matching ribbon and tiny pearls to finish it off.

I have colored my image with Prismacolor Premier Crayons and then added some glitter with some Stickles.

Aujourd'hui je vous montre deux cartes que j'ai fais en me servant de l'étampe "A Flower for all Seasons" de SU. J'aime beaucoup ce jeu d'étampes car il offre de multiples possibilités.

Ici, pour faire cette carte, je me suis servie du Poinçon Bigz Cercle Festonné, que j'ai embossé par la suite avec le Swiss Dots de Cuttlebug, couper mes cercles avec mes Nestabilities ajouté du ruban pour agencer et de petites perles pour finaliser.

J'ai coloré mon image avec les crayons Prismacolor Premier et j'ai ajouté des Stickles (brillants).

For this following card, I have used the same stamp, colored it the same way I did the previous card. Used pretty much the same elements as the other card except that I used Martha Stewart's scallop lace edge punch and used some designer paper plus I almost forgot, the Photo Corners punch from SU. I enjoyed making this card and plus I love pink...lol

Pour la carte suivante, j'ai utilisé les mêmes éléments et coloré de la même manière que la carte précédente. J'ai utilisé le Poinçon bordure Dentelle Festonnée de Martha Stewart du papier illustré et j'allais oublier, du poinçon Coins pour Photos de SU. J'ai bien aimer faire cette carte et en plus j'aime beaucoup le rose...hehehe

SMALL BOX CARD SET ~ PETITE BOITE DE CARTES

Good day everyone,

Today, I have made this small box to fit for about 4 cards and their enveloppes.

I recycled some cardboard to make the box. I have used StampinUp cardstock, designer paper, ribbon punches and stamp set "Cheep Talk"

I just love this set of stamps. You will be seeing a lot more cards made from this kit in the near future.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai fais cette petite boîte qui peux contenir jusqu'à 4 cartes et enveloppes.

J'ai fais la boîte en recyclant du carton. Je me suis servie des papiers cartonnés, des papiers illustrés, des rubans et des poinçons de StampinUp . L' étampe est "Cheep Talk".

J'aime beaucoup cet ensemble d'étampes. Vous allez voir plusieurs cartes faites avec cet ensemble dans un futur prochain.

For this card, I have used SU Cardstock : Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Morning Sunshine and Kraft . For the Designer Series Paper I have used : Morning Sunshine. Plus the matching ribbon Chocolate Chip. Stamps are "Cheep Talk" and "Mots Chaleureux".

I have also used the Ribbon Tags Trio from Spellbinders Shapeabilities .

Pour cette carte, j'ai utilisé les papiers cartonnés de SU suivants: Vert Olive, Pépite de Chocolat, Soleil d'été et Kraft. Pour le papier de série illustré, j'ai utilisé "Matin Ensoleillé". J'ai agencé avec le ruban Pépite de Chocolat. Les étampes sont : "Cheep Talk" et "Mots Chaleureux".

J'ai aussi utilisé le Trio Tags Ruban de Spellbinders Shapeabilities.

For this card here I used the following SU cardstocks : Morning Sunshine, Whisper White, and Old Olive. Designer Paper is Morning Sunshine.

I have colored the pear with SU markers and used "Crystal Effects" to make it shiny.This gives it a lovely effect.

Punches are from SU also. Scallop Edge punch, Scallop punch, Circle punches 1 3/8" and 1 1/4". Stamps used are "Cheep Talk" and "Tout Droit du Coeur".

Pour cette carte, j'ai utilisé les papiers cartonnés SU suivants : Soleil d'été, Murmure Blanc, et Vert Olive. Pour le papier illustré j'ai utilisé "Matin Ensoleillé" aussi de SU.

J'ai coloré la poire avec les marqueurs de SU et j'y ai ajouté du "Crystal Effects" pour la rendre luisante. Cela donne un très bel effet.

Les poinçons sont aussi de SU. Ici je me suis servie des poinçons : "Bordure Festonnée", "Pétoncle", "Cercles" de 1 3/8" et 1 1/4". Les étampes utilisées sont "Cheep Talk" et "Tout Droit du Coeur".

CHRISTMAS CARDS / CARTES DE NOEL

Hello again everyone,

I have made a few more cards and have to show them off.

Here's the first one.

This card is made using the "Snow Swirled " stamp et from StampinUp. I have used Versamark and then embossed it with gold embossing powder. I have used my Spellbinders Nestabilities rectangles to do the background support for my stamped image raised it with dimentionals and also used the Cuttlebug to emboss my background layer. The cardstock used is Real Red and Whisper White from SU. The gold layer is from gold paper that I bought in a pack with other colored papers at the dollar store.

Here's how I made this card :

I always cut my cardstock at 5 ½" x 8 ½ " so that with one sheet of cardstock I can make 2 cards out of it. I then score it with my Scor-Pal at 4 ¼ "
My gold layer measures : 5 ¼" x 4".

My whisper white embossed layer measures 5" x 3 ¾ "

Tip: Always try to emboss your cardstock before cutting it out, as it can sometimes shrink a wee bit.

As for the layers used for the stamped image, just add about a ¼ " per layer if you don't have the nestabilities. You will still get a lovely effect. As for those that do have the Nestabilities, just choose those that you will like to go with your image.

J'ai encore fais quelques cartes et il fallait que je vous les montrent.

Voici la première carte.

Référez-vous à l'image ci-haut svp :)

Pour faire cette carte, j'ai utilisé l'estampe "Folie de Floçons" de SU , j'ai utilisé du Versamark et mon image a été embossée avec de la poudre à embosser dorée.
J'ai utilisé mes Spellbinders Nestabilities rectangulaires pour faire le montage derrière mon image estampée et j'y ai ajouter des dimentionels pour donner un effet 3D.
J'ai utilisé ma Cuttlebug pour faire le fond sur mon papier cartonné blanc de SU "Murmure Blanc". Le papier doré, est un papier que j'ai trouvé inclus dans un ensemble de papiers au dollorama. Et le papier cartonné rouge est celui de SU "Vraiment Rouge".

Voici comment j'ai fabriquée cette carte :

Je coupe toujours mon papier cartonné comme suit : 5 ½" x 8 ½", avec une feuille je peux faire 2 cartes.
Je fais un pli au milieu à 4 ¼" en utilisant ma Scor-Pal .

Le papier doré, est coupé à 5 ¼" x 4"
Le papier cartonné murmure blanc est coupé à 5" x 3 ¾" et embossé avec la Cuttlebug.
Note: Un p'tit truc, embossez votre papier avant de le couper à la grandeur requise, car il peut rétrécir avec l'embossage.
Pour ce qui est de l'image estampée, choissez une image à votre goût et ensuite, ceci est pour ceux qui n'ont pas de Nestabilities, ajouter ¼" pour les arrière-plans additionnels, cela donneras un très bel effet. Et pour tous ceux qui ont les Nestabilities, il ne vous suffira que de jouer avec les grandeurs qui vous conviennent.

MY SECOND CARD / MA DEUXIEME CARTE

This card is done using my Cuttlebug machine. I used some felt with the mittens die cut and it works perfectly. Background is embossed and I have once again used my Nestabilities.

I had a lot of fun making this card.

Here are some of my newest cards.

My cards here are all done using the same style, but done in different color tones just so you can see the difference between each of them.

Mes cartes ici sont toutes faites en utilisant le meme style, mais fabriquées de couleurs différentes pour que vous puissiez voir la différence entre chacune d'elles.



I have done much the same here cardstock is "Olive Green" and "Not Quite Navy" from Stampin'Up

J'ai répété la meme chose ici, le papier cartonné est "Vert Olive" et "Presque Marine" de Stampin'Up


Here I have used the stamp from the "Snow Swirled" kit from Stampin'Up
I have done the background layer with my Cuttlebug. Added some glitter and a few rhinestones to the tree.

CHRISTMAS CARDS TO SHOW *~* CARTES DE NOEL À MONTRER

Hi everyone,

Yes, I know that's it's been a little while since my last post. I have done some Christmas cards and without any further delay here they are. They are made with the large snowflake in Stampin'Up's "Snow Swirled Stamp Kit" I love that kit. Here, I have added some glitter to the snowflakes. Have cuttlebugged the backgrounds. I find that it gives such a beautiful effect.

Je sais que cela fait un p'tit bout de temps que je n'ai pas ajouter quelque chose sur mon blog. Le temps me manquais. Je vous montre aujourd'hui quelques cartes que j'ai fais en utilisant l'ensemble d'estampes "Folie de Floçons" de Stampin'Up . Ici, j'ai utiliser le gros floçon, j'y ai ajouter des brillants ou glitter J'aime beaucoup cet ensemble. Pour les fonds, j'ai utilisé ma Cuttlebug. Je trouve que cela donne tellement une belle finition.

A FEW CHRISTMAS CARDS TO SHOW

Here are a couple of Christmas cards that I have just finished making. I have used the "Lovely as a Tree" stamp from StampinUp . I have used versamark then I have used white embossing powder to do the embossing. The backgroung layer is done with the Cuttlebug. Can't do without my Cuttlebug. Hope you like my new cards. They are made in the same style.

Voici quelques cartes que je viens de terminer. J'ai utilisé l'estampe "Lovely as a Tree" de StampinUp . J'ai embossé avec du versamark et de la poudre à embosser blanche. Et mon arrière plan à été fait en utilisant la Cuttlebug. Je ne peux me passer de celle-ci, elle fait tellement de beaux arrière-plans. J'espere que vous aimerez ces nouvelles cartes. Elles sont faites dans le meme style.

YET MORE HALLOWEEN CARDS / D'AUTRES CARTES D'HALLOWEEN

I have made more Halloween cards this past week. And my daughters Wendy and Cindy who live in Montreal came to visit during Thanksgiving weekend and we ended up making some cards. We had so much fun and they know that they have made their Mom very happy. Thanks girls for the lovely time that we have spent together.

J'ai à vous partager encore quelques cartes d'Halloween que j'ai fabriquées la semaine dernière. Mes filles, Wendy et Cindy qui sont de Montréal sont venues passées la fin de semaine de l'Action de Grâce avec moi et nous en avons profitées pour faire des cartes d'Halloween. Nous avons eu tellement de plaisir à s'amuser ensemble. Merci les filles ce fût super.

Alors, voici ces quelques cartes. Comme vous pouvez le constater, j'aime beaucoup l'Halloween, ce doit être mon coté enfantin :)
